Taking place every Labor Day weekend at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs is the annual Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off; one of the biggest and best hot air balloon festivals in Colorado!
Started more than 40 years ago, the Labor Day Lift Off has become one of southern Colorado's most beloved traditions and showcases more than 70 colorful balloons over the 3-day event.
Running from August 31st through September 2nd (2019), the Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off kicks off every morning at sunrise and ends each evening at dusk with an enchanting balloon glow.
In addition to all of the hot air balloon fun, the Labor Day Lift Off also offers a variety of other things to see and do, like food trucks, live music, donut eating contests, and even skydiving demonstrations.
