Spring has sprung, which means Colorado gardens and farms are finally beginning to bloom! To commemorate this momentous (and fragrant) occasion, we recommend making a pilgrimage to this enchanting herb farm that feels like a fairy tale come to life:
Welcome to the Three Leaf Farm; an urban farm and botanical sanctuary located in Lafayette.
Three Leaf Farm is family-owned and operated, and spans a stunning 10 acres that have to be seen to be fully appreciated.
If you’ve ever dined in a restaurant that’s part of the Three Leaf Concepts group, you may have already enjoyed this farm’s produce without even knowing it! The family that owns this restaurant group bought the farm so they could grow their own organic produce.
Three Leaf Farm offers everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to honey...
...and, of course, herbs galore!
While you’re here, make sure to check out the one-of-a-kind Medicine Walk.
The path will lead you through patches of St. John’s Wort, catnip, yarrow, and other medicinal plants to this beautiful central garden.
In addition to housing a beautiful herb garden, Three Leaf Farm provides a number of herb-inspired events.
The farm's signature event is the annual Botanica festival, which is coming up soon! This year, it takes place on June 21-23, 2019. Click
here for details.
Three Leaf Farm also offers workshops about topics in identifying plants and gardening...
...crafting herbal remedies...
…soapmaking…
...and even blending herbal teas.
Three Leaf Farm also hosts delicious farm dinners using their freshly-harvested ingredients several times a year.
Seats at these gourmet dinners tend to sell out, so check out the farm's
events calendar to see upcoming dates.
Aside from the workshops and events, tours of the farm can be made by appointment during the spring, summer, and fall seasons.
Three Leaf Farm is located at 445 S. 112th St. in Lafayette.
