Spring break is here for some (and just on the horizon for others), which means it is time to kick back and take care of Y-O-U! Fortunately for those of us in Colorado, there are plenty of amazing places to visit around the Centennial State, but none of them are quite as tranquil as this tiny and oh-so-relaxing mountain town:
Welcome to Grand Lake, a tiny town of just under 500 residents that may look small on the outside, but is anything but!
Dubbed the "Western Gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park," Grand Lake is truly the epitome of charm no matter your taste...
...or no matter the season.
Seriously, folks; Grand Lake is gorgeous every season and deserves to be experienced summer, fall, winter, AND spring!
Just what is there to do in this picturesque town? For starters, you can spend an afternoon walking and shopping the boardwalk...
Quite possibly one of the most popular outdoor activities for all ages is strolling the boardwalk, which features more than 60 restaurants, shops, bars, and galleries.
...eating some of the best food in the state...
World-class BBQ, brunch, Mexican, and pizza... the gang is all here in Grand Lake!
...hiking, boating, and fishing...
Do you want my personal recommendation? Hike beautiful Adams Falls (pictured above) for a one-mile hike that passes scenic creeks as well as the pièce de résistance - a stunning waterfall.
...and partaking in one of their special craft shows, theater productions, or other events.
