Are you shocked to hear that Colorado is growing faster than ever and that the cost of living will continue to rise? No? We didn’t think so… but according to a new report, a whopping 15 different Centennial State towns and cities are said to be some of the fastest-growing in the country, giving natives and long-time residents all the more to complain about:

As a Colorado native, nothing stresses me out more than the chaotic traffic, ridiculous cost of living, and some of our newer residents who move here and do nothing but complain, all of which can be explained by the fact that 15 popular towns and cities are growing more by the day.

According to WalletHub's report of the Fastest-Growing Cities in America, Denver came in 5th in "large cities with the highest growth," trailing the likes of Austin, Miami, Seattle, and Henderson (NV).

While Denver was the only Colorado city that made the Top 10, others made the Top 30, including Aurora (14) and Colorado Springs, pictured (29).

In addition to ranking large cities, WalletHub also included medium-size cities with a population between 100,000 and 300,000, which brought in the likes of Greeley (15), Thornton (28), Fort Collins (43), Arvada (47), Centennial (67), Lakewood (70), Highlands Ranch (79), Boulder (140), Westminster (176), and the pictured Pueblo (184).

How about small cities with a population of 100,000 or less? WalletHub included those, too, with Loveland coming in at 16th and Longmont (pictured) close behind in 24th.

What is the formula that WalletHub used to come to this conclusion? While there is a lot that goes into it, the main factors are the Sociodemographics (population growth) of each city and region, and overall Jobs & Economy.
