This county park is about an hour from downtown Denver and it’s a beautiful drive all the way up. If you're looking for a long walk, then you'll want to hop on the Narrow Gauge Trail. It runs from one end of the park to the other, and a bit beyond the park boundary to the east.

It's an out and back trail, so it's not a loop - so you'll have to come back the same way you came.
There's also a loop trail around Pine Lake here also. It's only .5 miles in length, but you can add a loop around the lake to your Narrow Gauge Trail hike to make it a bit longer.
