Now I haven’t been to every trail in Rock Mountain but I am pretty confident we have found the best trail in Rocky Mountain National Park. The Emerald Lake Trail was like a dream come true, in fact, I had to pinch myself a few times during the hike just to make sure I wasn’t sleeping. Not only is it real but it is one of the best hikes I have ever done in my whole life.

After being whisked away by this dreamy landscape I would easily recommend the Emerald Lake Trail as the best trail in Rocky Mountain National Park. Not only can you witness the impressive mountains, but the lakes, flowing streams, sweet-smelling evergreens, and so much more on this hike. If you are an avid hiker or just a curious nature lover, the AllTrails+ app is an easy way to track your hikes while you are out on the trail. This is an absolute must-have tool for me while I am hiking and would highly recommend it.

While you are in the area make sure to also stop by Bear Lake, it is a short and simple hike with unparalleled beauty of the water and mountains.
