Taking place Saturday, July 23rd, and Sunday, July 24th (2022), the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival is a Denver tradition that pays homage to area Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities.
This year, the event will celebrate the Year of the Water Tiger with an estimated 150,000+ in attendance, making it the largest Dragon Boat Festival in the country.
While cheering on the teams is reason enough to visit, the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival will also feature tons of food, a marketplace with shopping and exhibitors, live music, and more.
Colorado Dragon Boat Festival races begin each morning at 8 a.m., with the festival portion taking place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
