When it comes to dining out, there is nothing quite as stellar as a restaurant that is delicious and either has a fun atmosphere or intriguing history. What happens when you combine all of the above? Pure magic! If you are looking to eat at a place that has excellent food, a fun ambiance, and fascinating history, you will want to check out this old Colorado train depot that is now a beautiful restaurant:
Welcome to the Roadhouse: A unique Boulder, Colorado dining experience that is housed inside an old train depot!
How did the Roadhouse come to be? Built in 1890, the building was once the location of the Boulder Train Depot, later serving as a bus station and travel agency before becoming deserted and nearly demolished in the late 20th century.
Thankfully, the building was never destroyed and was later moved and converted into the popular Roadhouse!
When you visit the Roadhouse, you will find not only its original exterior but a swanky and modern ambiance that will have you coming back for seconds.
What should you order at the Roadhouse? While nearly everything on the menu is pure perfection, we highly recommend their mouthwatering wings...
Whether you order their Parmesan ranch, Asian spiced dry rub, BBQ, or hot Buffalo, you are guaranteed some of the best wings you have ever tasted at the Roadhouse.
...Flatbreads...
Which will you choose: Prosciutto & Asparagus or Touch of Fire?
...and any of their burgers or sandwiches.
Pictured is the Jam Burger, which is topped with strips of crispy bacon, bacon-onion apple jam, brie cheese, and arugula.
In addition to their killer food menu, the Roadhouse also serves a vast assortment of drinks, including beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails.
