In this great land of beer making in which we live, it can be difficult for a small brewery to stand out among the rest. But, as soon as you walk through the doors of Grandma’s House brewery and taproom, you will discover something so familiar that, at the same time, makes it so very different from any brewery you have ever visited.
It is fitting that Grandma's House is located in the heart of the historic Antique Row on South Broadway in Denver since their mission is to make you feel like you are visiting your Grandma's house when you stop in for a beer.
You can't help but feel right at home with the old-school plaid couches, knitted blankets, antique rocking chairs, and throw-back knick knacks that will conjure up memories of hanging out at Grandma's as a kid.

But, there is one difference. I'm guessing your Grandma didn't offer such an impressive selection of beer.
With, of course, hand-knitted sleeves on each tap.
Not only can you comfortably sip on a beer (often from collectible drink-ware that at one time was a jelly jar) while surrounded in memorabilia that is truly a throwback to your younger years, but you can also participate in one of their many unique events or classes.
You'll definitely want to go online to check their calendar. With events like Uno Night, Tetris League, and Saturday Morning Cartoons, you are sure to find something fun to attend. You may also want to take part in one of their many classes including Cross-Stiching 101 or Sipping and Sewing.
So, go ahead an pull up a seat to this vintage bar (yes, that's a quilted tablecloth covering the bar). The old-school atmosphere that surrounds you will definitely lead to an unforgettable brewery experience.
