10 Reasons Why People From Denver Are Unbelievably Tough
While other cities in other states may think that they are tough and strong, they are wrong… Okay, okay; that may not be an incredibly fair statement, as other people from other places may also be strong, but they can’t be nearly as tough as those of us from Denver for these 10 reasons:

Yeah, I know... every city thinks they have the worst traffic. But until you have tried navigating the Mile High City on ONE major highway traveling north and south, you have no idea what you are talking about!

If you have yet to experience life at a higher elevation, you may not realize that -- for some -- it comes with nausea, dizziness, and other debilitating side effects. That being said, those of us in Denver take the 5280 altitude like champs and can go even higher when traveling up the mountain.

That's right; running up and down Red Rocks, biking around town, and hiking through the nearby mountains gives us our ideal form of a high!

Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.

We have had our hearts broken more times than we can count by more people than we can list (See: Broncos, Nuggets, and Rockies players), but we don't let it shake our faith.

Let's just say it wasn't named "One of the 13 best haunted house attractions in the US" by USA Today for nothing.

Extra points if you weren't sick for days after your visit to the "Greatest Show in Denver!"

Word to the wise: Don't drive the "longest continuous street in America" after dark, for there are some things that just cannot be unseen.

It's no secret that it costs A LOT to live in Denver... that being said, we have had to figure out how to make more money, get thrifty, move up the work ladder, etc. to call this place our home.

Waaaah, dry skin, right? Actually it is a total waaaah situation, because we have low humidity which means miserably dry skin, chapped lips, and static-filled hair that we have had to learn to live with.
