I normally don’t like to brag, but I am going to make an exception today by telling you that I have a gift for thrift. From antiques to name brand clothing to housewares, I have found it all gently used and at an unbeatable price. Seeing as though I love all of our readers, I am going to let you in on one of my favorite thrift shops that you will want to visit more than just once:
Located in Northwest Denver, Peak Thrift is one of the city's newest and most fabulous second hand stores that not only features a bunch of great deals, but a great mission as well.
As if this wasn't enticing enough, Peak Thrift -- which is a subsidiary of the non-profit Urban Peak -- also lives by its mission to help "youth experiencing homelessness and youth at risk of becoming homeless overcome real life challenges by providing essential job training and a supportive work environment."
Peak Thrift is located at 4890 Pecos St. in Denver and is open weekdays from 10 am to 7 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm. To find out more about donating your gently used goods or about Urban Peak's mission, please visit Peak Thrift Store's website.
