Can I ask you a question? Can you imagine ever having to move away from this glorious city in this enchanting state? I sure can’t, but as you know, sometimes life takes you in a different direction and to a brand new place. If this has happened to you, you can probably attest to these 15 things that everyone who has moved away from Denver has thought at least once:
1.) No other place in the world has as many epic sports teams...
Football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse... Denver has it all (and then some)!
2.) ...loyal fans...
Believe me; it takes true loyalty to still love our teams after some of their recent seasons...
3.) ...or overall upbeat energy as Denver.
If it's game day, you can typically find us at the field or nearby sports bar cheering on our team!
4.) "The beer isn't nearly as good here as it is back in Colorado..."
Microbrews will ruin you for life.
5.) "...and neither is the weed that I had to get from a sketchy dealer behind a movie theater."
At least it's legal here (if you're into that sorta thing)!
6.) There is always something fun to do on the weekends...
7.) ...and admission is almost always free.
Free weekend fun? Try finding that anywhere else!
8.) Other cities are not nearly as bike friendly as Denver.
And you didn't get weird looks for walking or jogging during your lunch break.
9.) The Mile High City has a close proximity to just about everything.
The mountains and plains are both less than an hour away, and -- if you feel so inclined -- it is only a *mere* 1,077 miles to the ocean!
10.) Anything you could ever want was right here...
11.) ...or just a short drive away.
IKEA FTW!
12.) Finally, there is no place on earth that has a better culture...
No need to leave the city when the gangs already here!
13.) ...skyline...
14.) ...sunrises...
The best part of waking up, for sure!
15.) ...or sunsets.
There is no better way to end another memorable day in the best place on earth.
