It probably never crossed your mind to track down the best Halloween train ride near Denver, but darned if this Trick or Treat Train isn’t loads of fun for the whole family. On October 29th and 30th from 10am-4pm, the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden will host their annual Railroad Halloween Town extravaganza, offering tricks, treats, unlimited train rides, and festive activities. Don your best costume and chug on down to the museum for some safe, wholesome “not so spooky” Halloween fun.
The Colorado Railroad Museum opened in Golden in 1959 and is now the proud home of over 100 narrow and standard gauge steam and diesel locomotives, passenger cars, and cabooses, as well as a library, exhibit galleries, and the Depot General Store.
