Attention all mac and cheese fanatics in Denver! We’ve just hit the jackpot. The new Whole Foods Market that will be opening near Union Station is going to be home to the chain’s first ever mac and cheese bar. You heard me correctly, a mouth watering line up of different mac and cheese options, all deliciously unique, will soon be available to you.
Clear your calendar for November 15. This is the day that the new Whole Foods Flagship store is set to open its doors for the first time. It will be located a couple blocks north of Union Station.
Whole Foods has built an empire on natural and organic groceries and is well known for their extensive hot bar which has included standard mac and cheese in the past.
But, they are definitely taking things to the next level with a six-foot-long mac and cheese lovers paradise filled with such varieties as pulled pork BBQ mac and cheese, roasted tomato mac and cheese, as well as a Vegan option.
This new location will feature three mini restaurants within the store, as well as a 100 pound cheese tower (if you just can't get enough cheese) that will be hand cut to order.
Whole foods has been on a roll with inventive new additions to their stores lately. They have included mochi bars in multiple locations and a "produce butcher" in Manhattan.
Denver residents are both honored and excited that their Whole Foods will be the first to ever offer such an array of mac and cheese options.
