As per the Denver Firefighters Museum blog, "Our building was constructed in 1909, to replace the original Station One. It was an operating fire station for over 60 years, so there is naturally a lot of history that has taken place at this site. As a fire station, our museum saw the last days of horse drawn engines, the advent of motorized rigs, and was host to many firefighters that lived and worked within its walls. As a museum, it's seen thousands of visitors over the years, from retired and active firefighters to young schoolchildren to groups of any composition."

The article goes on to say that two of the most discussed spirits lurking around the museum are that of Tom (a former firefighter) and Caleb (a young man killed near the museum who was then allegedly buried where the building now stands).

When you visit, be sure to keep your eyes and ears peeled, as museum workers, visitors, and psychics alike have reported unexplainable sounds when no one is around and even strange figures appearing in photos.
