A pretty good rule-of-thumb to consider when it comes to restaurants is this: If it has been around for awhile, it's probably amazing. Enter Cherry Cricket, the "Black Sheep of Cherry Creek" that has been serving some of the best burgers and bar food in the area since 1945.
At first glance, my eyes were all, "Nah, this place seems too fancy to serve a good, old-fashioned burger." But after just one bite, my taste buds told my judgmental eyes to SHOVE. IT. You guys; this place (and the fact that they grow and butcher their own livestock) is INCREDIBLE!
What do you get when you combine Gold Canyon natural reserve Angus beef, a fresh-baked Bluepoint Bakery bun, and other locally-grown ingredients? The kind of foodgasm that only comes from TAG.

Bad Daddy's is my family's go-to, so I'd like to say I'm somewhat of an expert when it comes to their mouthwatering options. Not sure what to order? Get the Mama Ricotta's Burger with extra special sauce on the side for fry dipping. You're welcome.
Sure; their unconventional creations look like something I would have concocted while I was pregnant, but guess what? These "Crave"-able burgers actually taste pretty darn good (pregnant or not)!

Let's just say there is a reason that Highland's "Shroom Lova" burger (All natural beef patty, sauteed mushroom blend,
Ementhaler cheese, white truffl e aioli) was named one of Zagat's "2014 Top 15 Burgers
in the United States."
Located inside Union Station, this Texas native sure knows what it's doing when it comes to flipping up some flavorful beef. (Having to admit that Texas makes good burgers was one of the most painful things I have ever had to do.)
