Wasn’t last weekend absolutely glorious?! Temperatures were a comfortable 70-some degrees, we had a few gentle rainstorms… it was truly the best! But alas; like most good things, this unseasonably cool weather is coming to an end, which is where this Denver hidden beaches road trip — and its cold waters — comes into play! If you thought the Chatfield Reservoir was great for outdoor recreation, wait until you get a load of the soft sand and gentle waves that line this designated swim area... (Okay, we will admit that the fishing and boating is pretty epic too, so make plans to enjoy both on the same day!)
