Well, the reality is that many popular tree varieties simply don't grow successfully in Colorado. Therefore, they must be brought in (CreekSide reaches out to North Carolina and Oregon growers for their non-Colorado grown trees). The pre-cut trees are then "planted" in their growing field solely for the "experience" of cutting them down.

And, it's an experience you won't soon forget! Santa himself makes appearances at the Niwot location on Saturdays from noon until 2 p.m., and on Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m.
