You may recognize this small, family-run bakeshop by its original name, Big Fat Cupcake, from when it first opened in 2008. Located just two blocks east of Cherry Creek Mall, this gourmet cupcake shop is now appropriately named the Buttercream Bakeshop. Their oversized cupcakes are baked up from scratch daily in 18 irresistible flavors including salted caramel, key lime, and cookies and creme.

Stop into this quaint Park Hill neighborhood bakery and you will be drawn to their delicious cupcake selections including red velvet and chocolate fudge. They offer unique flavors through their daily specials and customers have the choice of mini, standard, or gluten free cupcakes. Go ahead and order a dozen cupcakes to go. Especially if that particular cupcake comes in a uniquely delicious flavor such as Cherry Coke or Nutella Bacon.
