These 7 locations in Denver offer unbeatable sunset views. So go ahead and find a prime spot, sit back, and soak in the beauty.
1. City Park
You may want to head to City Park early in the day to make the most of your visit as there are many things to do and see at this gorgeous 330 acre park. It is home to the Denver Zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, plus a lake and other recreation areas. The awe-inspiring view at the end of the day highlights the downtown skyline with the beautiful Rocky Mountains in the background. City Park can be found at the intersection of 17th Ave and Colorado Blvd in Denver.
2. Peaks Lounge at the Hyatt Regency Hotel
Hop on the elevator at the downtown Hyatt Regency Hotel and head to the 27th floor for cocktails, desserts, and breathtaking panoramic views from Peaks Lounge. You can find this modern lounge at 650 15th St. in Denver.
3. Sloan's Lake
Take a stroll around Sloan's Lake (the biggest lake in Denver) and you will be able to take in a stunning view of the sunset over the Rocky Mountains to the west. Sloan's lake can be found at 1700 W. Sheridan Blvd.
4. Cheeseman Park
To catch the best glimpse of the glowing sky at sunset, make your way to the pavilion and take in the 150 mile panorama of the Rockies. Cheeseman park can be found at 1599 E. 8th Ave. in Denver.
5. Linger
This popular restaurant (that used to be a mortuary!) serves up global small plates and a rooftop lounge with gorgeous sunset views. Linger can be found at 2030 W. 30th Ave in Denver.
6. Inspiration Point Park
Found just 7 miles northwest of downtown Denver, Inspiration Point Park is an amazing vista point to view both the city and the front range. It can be found at 4901 Sheridan Blvd in Denver.
7. North Table Moutain
If you are up for a little adventure and exercise, travel out to Golden and you will be rewarded with remarkable views from North Table Mountain. There are trails of various lengths available, which you can access from the parking lot off of Highway 93, just north of Golden.
So, instead of finding yourself simply driving down the road when the sky begins showing its beauty at sunset, grab a blanket and your camera and get to one of these spots to take it all in.
