What Real Life Looks Like Inside The Snowiest Town In Colorado
Once upon a time, I LOVED snowy days and being able to stay inside, cuddle up on the couch to work, and not have to leave the house for anything. Fast forward a couple of years and I am now the mom of two little boys who REQUIRE getting out and doing something every day, meaning I now despise blizzards and being stuck in the house. Fortunately (for me, anyway), this has been a somewhat mild winter for Denver, but other parts of Colorado have been getting hit hard, including the state’s snowiest town.
Located in the heart of the Rockies, Crested Butte is a popular Colorado destination that is home to more than 1,500 and features some of the best skiing in the state, which should come as no surprise considering the town’s average 66 snow days per year and estimated 216.6 inches of snowfall! Just what does all of this snow look like? To get a better look, check out this mesmerizing snow day video by Travel Crested Butte:
