Sit down. We need to have a serious conversation.. There have been rumors going around for awhile now and we need to clear the air once and for all. You know what I’m talking about, right? Yes; I’m talking about pizza. What you’ve been hearing about the best of the best pizza being in New York, Chicago, and California is nothing but a dirty lie and I’m about to prove that to you with this list of 10 amazing Colorado pizza joints. They have some of the best pizza in Colorado, and the world.
1.) Roma Pizza (Greeley & Evans)
THE pizza and beer joint for the Greeley area! I'll definitely be stopping by next time I visit my friends at UNC!
2.) Mellow Mushroom (LoDo, Lone Tree, & Centennial)
I have personally never tried Mellow Mushroom but my cousin and friends absolutely rave about their "out-of-this-world" pizza. I'm a team player so I'll try it if I have to..
3.) Marco's Coal-Fired Pizzeria (Denver & Englewood)
I'll take a large Toscana, please!
4.) High Mountain Pies (Leadville)
This little slice of perfection looks like it'd be perfect to eat after a long day on the slopes!
5.) Gondola Pizza, Bar, & Grill (Avon)
You had me at "butter basted crust."
6.) Fargo's Pizza (Colorado Springs)
The Casa Bonita of pizza parlors (except the food is actually delicious and the ambiance is Victorian era).
7.) Beau Jo's (7 Locations)
Deep dish crust with honey to dip.. enough said.
8.) Downstairs at Eric's (Breckenridge)
Perfect pizza, bountiful beers, and awesome ambiance? Sounds like a winner (and an alliteration)!
9.) Edgewater Inn (Edgewater)
"Home to some of Denver's oldest home made pizzas & calzones for over 60 years. Owned and operated by the the Di Pietro family, The Edgewater Inn continues to use the same family recipes and original brick ovens that delivers the same authentic quality to our customers since 1953." If it's good enough for Denver, it's good enough for me!
10.) Bonnie Brae Tavern (Denver)
Go with the #7 (you can thank me later).
I know we all have our own strong opinions about the best pizza in Colorado, so tell me: Where do you go to get your pizza fix?
