If you have ever visited two or more of Colorado’s four corners, you know that they are all EXTREMELY different. From dry and desert-like to ripe with wheat to chock-full of mountains and fossils, you will never run out of things to see and do in all four Colorado corners, which is why we compiled this list of 12 must-see things at each corner. Tucked away inside the Pawnee National Grassland are the aptly named Pawnee Buttes; two rocky, 300-foot-tall buttes that stand over the surrounding prairie that the area is known for.
Hiding out on the northeast plains is Jackson Lake State Park; Colorado’s premiere getaway for water sports, hiking, and hunting that was also named one of the "Top 15 Park Beaches" by Reserve America.
Comprised of prairie grasslands and canyons, Comanche National Grassland consists of 463,373 peaceful acres, making for an ideal place to walk, hike, bike, and relax.
Located just down the road from Comanche, Picketwire Canyon is a geologic site that consists of more than 100 dinosaur track-ways and a whopping 1,500 individual footprints, making it the largest track site for dinosaurs in the United States!
Nicknamed the "sapphire on the plains," John Martin Reservoir State Park features a beautiful sandy beach and designated swimming area, as well as a fun geocaching program, ample fishing, water sports, and regular wildlife sightings. But the best part? The crowds are NOTHING like they are in the bigger cities!
Do you ever feel like you need to be in four places at once? Now you can! Located in the southwest corner of the Centennial State, you can skip through Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah, and experience what it's really like to be in four places at once.
Quite possibly one of the most iconic of Colorado attractions is Mesa Verde, which boasts both incredible views and amazing history within a whopping 52,485 acres of Ancestral Puebloan archeological sites.

Located along the Colorado/Utah border is Dinosaur National Monument, which spans countless miles, houses 800 paleontological sites, and offers spectacular views unlike anything you have experienced. Speaking of spectacular views...

Don’t let the name scare you away or you may just miss out on one of the most unforgettable hikes in Colorado! Located south of Steamboat Springs, the Devil’s Causeway is a jagged, narrow peak that stands at an elevation of nearly 12,000 feet. It is recommended for only the most skilled of hikers, as some spots are a mere four feet wide!
