When you are ready to relax and unwind, there is nothing quite like a cup of hot tea. If you associate a great cup of tea as only coming from Europe or Asia, you are gravely mistaken, as Colorado is home to this iconic tea factory and store:
Please note, Celestial Seasonings is temporarily closed.
You know Boulder as being the home of the University of Colorado, Flatirons, and Pearl Street Mall...
...but did you know that it is also home to the Celestial Seasonings factory?!
Founded in 1969, Celestial Seasonings is the 7th largest tea company in America and specializes in a wide array of herbal, green, white, and black blends.
Now that you have an idea of the company, it is time to visit the factory, which is home to tours...
...a cafe...
...and tantalizing tea shop!
While we recommend taking in all that Celestial Seasonings has to offer, we highly suggest beginning with a free tour, which begins on the hour and takes you through the actual manufacturing process...
...all the way to the infamous, eye-burning Mint Room!
Tours run Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and last approximately 45 minutes.
Please note: Children under the age of 5 are not permitted in the factory.
Celestial Seasonings is located at 4600 Sleepytime Drive in Boulder.
