Berry Patch Farms is a USDA certified organic farm that is owned and operated by Tim and Claudia Ferrell. They've been running this farm together since 1991 and the farm has had a pick-your-own component since 1994.
The farm is on 40 acres and it's beautiful land. Visitors can pick strawberries, raspberries, currants, pie cherries, plums, basil, flowers, and pickling cucumbers from June to September. Check in at the front and then you can head out into the field and start picking!
Picking berries can be exhausting, but it's so much fun to pick your own. Be sure to bring sunblock, water, bug spray, closed-toed shoes, and a hat to protect you from the sun.
Pets aren't allowed on the property, and if you plan to spend the day at the farm, bring your own lunch. There are picnic tables onsite where you can eat.
It will take quite a while to fill even one container with berries, but you'll find that it's well worth the time and effort to do so.
