Fall is officially in the air… have you started decorating for this most sacred and highly anticipated time of year? One of the best decor options is, of course, the pumpkin, which can be found at your local grocery store, farmers market, or discount chain store. While you can always find a pumpkin at one of these convenient locations, it isn’t nearly as fun as choosing the perfect one at Colorado’s charming Anderson Farms:
Located in Erie, Anderson Farms is billed as being Colorado's largest fall family fun destination.
Started by Swedish immigrants August and Josephine Anderson in 1911, Anderson Farms houses one of the best pumpkin patches in Colorado complete with 70 different varieties of pumpkins, squash, and gourds.
In addition to its large variety of pumpkins, Anderson Farms also offers affordable prices, with most gourds costing between $2 and $12 (depending on the size).
As if the pumpkins themselves were not reason enough to visit, Anderson Farms also boasts several other seasonal attractions like a corn maze...
Anderson Farms is home to Colorado's oldest corn maze, which spans 25 acres and 8 miles worth of trails.
...Barrel trains, mine cars, wagon rides, and pedal karts...
All of these childhood favorites are included with admission!
...And jump pads, slides, a playground, and other fun for the littles!
For a full list of attractions, please visit Anderson Farms'
website .
Are you looking to do something a little more spooky this Halloween? Anderson Farms even hosts a zombie paintball hunt and haunted corn maze!
