Are you looking for something new and downright exciting to do this summer? There are plenty of attractions in Colorado that are totally worth visiting, like the exciting Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and its one-of-a-kind Haunted Mine Drop rollercoaster:
Established in the 1890s, visiting Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is a longtime Colorado tradition. The attraction has massively expanded since its original, turn-of-the-century cave tours.
When you visit Glenwood Caverns today, you will discover everything from iconic thrill rides to kiddie favorites, a 4D theater, and the epic, first-of-its-kind Haunted Mine Drop.
Opened in 2017, the Haunted Mine Drop was first named one of USA Today’s 12 Most Anticipated Thrill Rides of 2017 and then their Best New Theme Park Attraction of 2017, thanks to both its unique concept and stomach-dropping plunge.
Featuring a heart-pounding, 110-foot plunge, the Haunted Mine Drop takes riders on the adventure of a lifetime as they plummet deep into Iron Mountain via a seemingly janky old mining building.
Please note: riders on the Haunted Mine Drop must be at least 46 inches tall and must sign a waiver before their descent.
Admission to the Haunted Mine Drop and Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is $59 for adults and $54 for children and includes all of the rides, plus access to the gondola and caves.
