As per the Top 25 National Parks in America - which surveyed Travel + Leisure readers and originally included all 63 parks - RMNP was a no-brainer, as it scored 89.25 out of 100, putting it at #4 on the list.
In terms of the score, Travel + Leisure factored in everything from accessibility and cleanliness to natural attractions, wildlife, and lodging, all of which RMNP thrives.
Located within the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, Rocky Mountain National Park is a stunning 265,461-acre oasis that draws in nearly 3.5 million visitors each year.
Established by President Woodrow Wilson in 1915, Rocky Mountain National Park is home to some of the best mountain activities in the country, including outdoor recreation (a la trails and lakes), ample wildlife sightings, and camping.
