Ah, donuts… whether its breakfast time, a rough day, or you just have an appreciation for deep-fried pastries, today’s article is for you! While there are numerous chains and family-owned joints around Colorado that are nothing short of fabulous, there can only be one donut that reigns king, and you’ll find them this little-known shop.
Please note, Glazed and Confuzed is no longer in business.
Nestled away inside of Denver's fun and hip Stanley Marketplace is the oh-so-scrumptious Glazed and Confuzed, whose donuts are just as tasty as their name is clever!
Named as one of Travelocity's "Best Doughnut Shops in All 50 States," Glazed and Confuzed serves only the best handmade donuts, promising only the best, all made using sustainably-sourced, local, and organic ingredients whenever possible.
While we can go on and on about the company, we are going to let the donuts speak for themselves, beginning with their Razberry Lemonade.
These little delights feature a raspberry puree and freshly squeezed lemon topping that gives them just the right zing.
Next up: the Coconut Joy.
A rich chocolate glaze and roasted almonds are the perfect complements to the coconut cream filling.
Don't miss the Breakfast of Champz.
This sweet and savory treat is coated with a pure maple syrup and bacon-infused glaze and topped with hand-cured bacon.
Perhaps the best of all: Breaking Banana Bread.
These scrumptious cake donuts are filled with fresh banana, glazed with salted caramel, and topped with chocolate chips.
Glazed and Confuzed is located at 2501 Dallas Streer in Aurora and is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (or until sold out).
