I scream, you scream, we all scream for… chocolate? That’s right, folks: Chocolate is officially the king of sweets here in the Centennial State, as one of our local chocolatiers was named one of the best in the country! Are you ready to get your cocoa fix? Look no further than the Cultura Craft Chocolate in Colorado:
Located in Denver, Cultura Craft Chocolate is a locally-owned "bean to bar" chocolatier specializing in "greater transparency, sustainability, and accessibility."
Owned and operated by Damaris Ronkanen, Cultura Craft Chocolate was inspired by Ronkanen's childhood trips to visit family in Mexico, where her Abuela taught her the secret to making champurrado (chocolate atole) and mole, which planted the seeds for the future chocolatier.
When you visit Ronkanen and her Cultura Craft Chocolate today, you will find her family's champurrado on the drink menu, as well as other decadent sips like Cacao Fruit Soda, Drinking Chocolate, Brewchata, and much more.
Hungry? You have come to the right place, as Cultura also offers a menu of chocolatey goodness, including packaged bars, chocolate covered mangoes, and brownies. Yum!
Cultura Craft Chocolate is open Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and then again from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
