Last Valentine’s Day, I surprised my husband with tickets to some “bacon and beer thing” at Sports Authority Field, not knowing exactly what it was but figuring it would be fun. Fast forward to the festival three months later and oh… my… gosh… we had the BEST time ever! If you missed last year’s “bacon and beer thing,” don’t despair – they are coming back to Colorado this weekend and you will not want to miss it!
Officially called the Bacon and Beer Classic (and not "some bacon and beer thing"), this festival is the epitome of Colorado with 100+ local beers on tap.
They offer 30 mouthwatering bacon dishes from regional restaurants.
There are also games, music, and so much more!
The fact that it is hosted at the home of our beloved Denver Broncos makes it even better!
This tasty festival just keeps getting bigger and better.
The Bacon and Beer Classic is a highly regarded event that highlights the best-of-the-best bacon dishes, as well as delicious brews crafted by regional brewers.
The event has taken place in cities across the country, but this year, it’s back in Colorado and we are over-the-moon about it!
This year’s festival will showcase brews from Front Range Brewing and Halfpenny Brewing, as well as dishes from the highly acclaimed Bacon Social House and Oskar Blues... yum!
