Farms aren’t just for farming; they’re for dining, too! At least, that’s the case with Rabbit Ridge Farms. The fully functioning farm doubles as a restaurant that serves up delicious, home-cooked breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. It’s one remote restaurant that you’ll want to visit…again and again!
Rabbit Ridge Farms is located in Bee Branch, an unincorporated community about an hour north of Little Rock.
At one time, the 200+-acre farm was solely a commercial beef cattle operation. These days, it practices sustainable farming and is home to a menagerie of animals.
Those aren’t the only changes the farm has undergone over the years, though. It’s also grown to include a restaurant, which is housed in the farm’s massive hall – a red steel structure situated in the middle of a field.
As charmingly rustic on the inside as it is on the outside, the restaurant’s interior is filled with communal tables outfitted with checkered tablecloths.
The restaurant at Rabbit Ridge Farms is only open on select dates, March - December. Typically, though, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at least once a month.
And though the menu changes with every meal, the food is always home-cooked and delicious! Passed menus have included dishes such as smoked ham, steak, fried chicken, fried pork chops, baked beans, and mashed potatoes.
In addition to an on-site store stocked with farm-fresh goods, the farm offers tours. It also plays host to an array of concerts, workshops, and events.
