Located off State Road 59, this cavern tells legends of Spanish Conquistadors, buried treasures, lost spirits, and more. So, it’s no wonder that it attracts visitors from all over the state.
They come to hear all about the mysteries of the legendary cave and to see the incredible rock formations as well as the critters that dwell inside.

Currently, the cavern is owned and operated by the Linscott family, who conducts tours, run the gift shop, offer camps, as well as other fun activities throughout the year.

But what makes this cavern stand out from the rest is that it also has a movie theater and hosts movie nights from a makeshift campground inside the cave.

The scary movies are shown on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings and they include Gremlins, Friday the 13th, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Halloween, just to name a few.
This one-of-a-kind adventure is great for the entire family. However, some movies might not be suitable for younger kids. So, be sure to check the movie schedule and plan your adventure accordingly.

Bring your chairs and blankets, so that you can be comfortable inside the cave. Also, the temperature inside the cavern is a cool 58 degrees, so be prepared by wearing the appropriate clothing.
Once you purchase your online movie tickets, there is no refund unless the movie is canceled by the owners.

Additionally, you must be at the entrance 30 minutes prior to showtime. You'll then wait to be escorted to the seating area to set up your chairs. Unfortunately, no late entry will be allowed.
