As “off the beaten path” as you can get, it’s not the kind of place you just stumble upon. However, it is the kind of place that you seek out, and that’s because it serves up some of the most mouthwatering food in Arkansas.
The epitome of a hidden gem, Catalpa Café is tucked away in the tiny, unincorporated community of Ozone.
It’s also likely that you’ll be greeted by the owner, Randy. But he’s not just the owner. A true one-man show, he’s also the café’s cook, server, and…well, you get the picture.
Remember, with one person doling out made-from-scratch meals, the food isn’t going to be served in warp speed. However, we can confidently say that after one bite, you’ll agree the wait was worth it!
