What are some other amazing Christmas lights displays in Arkansas?
Christmas light displays are one of the very best things about the holiday season. The bright, twinkling lights and cheerful displays are guaranteed to offer a big, old dose of holiday spirit sure to put a smile on your face. And the Natural State certainly goes big for the holidays! Here are some of the best Christmas lights in Arkansas:
- Lights of the Ozarks (Fayetteville Square). Each year Fayetteville Parks and Recreation decorates the Fayetteville square with over 400,000 lights. The event stretches from mid-November until the end of December, so you have plenty of time to check it out. On the square you’ll find carriage rides, hot cocoa, Santa, and so much more magic, we can’t begin to list it all.
- Arkansas State Capitol. In downtown Little Rock, the Capitol dazzles during the holidays, making it a must-visit during the season. Little Rock has loads of activities and more lights than you can imagine. In addition to the Capitol, the Empress of Little Rock is a dolled-up Victorian inn that's straight out of a Hallmark movie come Christmas!
-
Saline County Courthouse. Located in Benton, the Saline County Courthouse is part of the Arkansas Trail of Holiday Lights. It makes that list because it’s absolutely fantastic. The lights generally turn on from mid-November through the end of December, and during this time, festivities such as the annual Christmas Parade, happen as well. You’ll find thousands of lights all over the block that holds the courthouse at 200 North Main Street in Benton.
- Garvan Woodland Gardens. If you’re looking for literally millions of lights, you need to go to Garvan Woodland Gardens. They’ve spread 4.5 million bulbs across 17 acres, and each acre is amazing. Their holiday lights last through the end of December, and it is a delightful holiday wonderland you simply must experience.
- Eureka Springs. If you can imagine a better place to spend your holiday time than in a Victorian village, congratulations because we sure can’t! In downtown Eureka Springs, you’ll find all the holiday fun you can imagine: light displays, great food, and endless shopping!
