She loves exploring the trails around the Buffalo National River and has yet to find a waterfall that wasn't her favorite.
The mysterious monoliths popping up around the world also made a stop in little ole’ Eureka Springs, AR. The Farm in Eureka Springs was already an awesome, out-of-this-world adventure, but they’ve recently been contacted by aliens! Although we can’t say for sure if this perplexing structure was truly a call from beyond the stars or just a hoax, it still makes us want to plan a camping trip. Let’s see what all fun we can find at this campground:
Before we break out the tin foil hats, it's worth noting The Farm is an amazing stop for a camping adventure.
This was true even before they were possibly contacted by aliens! The Farm has been around since 2015 as a campground and music venue. The expansive, 160-acre area is nestled in the Ozarks, on the very northern outskirts of Eureka Springs.
In addition to the beauty of the Ozarks, The Farm has all sorts of outdoor recreation.
It features endless hiking and mountain biking, and Beaver Lake, Tablerock Lake, White River, and Kings River are all just minutes away! Swimming during the warm weather is always lovely, but don't forget the trophy-worthy fishing, either. Trout, largemouth and striped bass, and walleye are all within 5 miles of the campground.

A sprawling, 18-hole disc golf course is also on the grounds.
The course is great for all skill levels and tours you through breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Sponsored by Innova Disc Golf, the course features long fairways, water hazards, technical wooded shots, and a mix of elevation changes.
The Farm has 25 RV sites with electrical and water hook-ups, and primitive tent camping is available anywhere on the property. The Farm also has a bathhouse complete with hot water showers. For a price breakdown on nightly, weekly, and monthly stays, head to their booking page here.
The Farm made international (and possibly intergalactic) news when the monolith appeared in early December 2020.
Musician and performer at The Farm, Skye Pollard, was the first to spot the mysterious monolith. The odd structure was similar to the other ones spotted in over 30 countries. It was 10 feet tall and appeared to be made of metal. The owner of The Farm, Jon Walker, was just as surprised as the rest of us when the news surfaced. The gates of The Farm are monitored by cameras, but no vehicles were spotted during the night leading up to the monolith's appearance.
As suddenly as the monolith appeared, it vanished only a few days later.
Again, no clues were given to its disappearance—not even with nearby game cameras. Although it's possible someone snuck it off the grounds, we'll never know for sure.
The Farm does host a space-themed music festival every year, The Spaceberry. But we may never know if the monolith was a unique advertisement for the event or part of a larger, otherworldly contact from aliens.
Regardless, it's still exciting to think this area may have been contacted! No matter if you meet aliens or just make new friends, a trip to The Farm will be worth it. See all of their upcoming events and learn more about making reservations by visiting their right here. You can also follow them on Facebook.
