J.B. Weisenfels has lived in rural Arkansas for three decades. She is a writer, a mom, and a graduate student. She is also an avid collector of tacky fish whatnots, slightly chipped teapots, and other old things. In her spare time she enjoys driving to the nearest creek to sit a while. If you were to visit her, she'd try to feed you cornbread.
From the man made wonders to the natural ones, the Natural State is truly a breathtaking place. You could spend years looking at all the beautiful sites in Arkansas and never run out of things to see. Luckily, these seventeen places can be explored in just a few hours. Since some of these places are fairly close together, you could group them into weekend trips and explore them all this summer.
Please note, William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library and War Eagle Cavern are temporarily closed.
