I am a nature lover and self-proclaimed foodie wrapped in one package. In my previous life, I was an Accountant, but numbers were boring and writing is the only thing that fuels my soul. So, I write because it's my freedom...it brings me joy. When I'm not writing dope articles for OnlyInYourState, I am writing and editing articles for my online blog on Medium.com. Or, when I get the chance, I am off on a trip with my family chasing waterfalls, or simply exploring the great outdoors. My mantra is to always find the best part of every day and bask in it.
Calling all adrenaline enthusiasts, this one’s for you. Have you ever been on a skydiving adventure, soaring above the clouds on a high-speed, high-flying excursion? Perhaps you’ve witnessed Arkansas from a mountain summit, but you must view the beauty of the Natural State like the birds do. If you have ever dreamt of flying, then Skydive Fayetteville is perfect for you.
Skydive Fayetteville is located at Drake Field, a public airport in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
You’ll be paired with one of the licensed and qualified skydiving instructors with over 5 years of jumping experience. You MUST be 18 years of age to perform both jumps.
Spread your wings and fly at 120 miles per hour above the clouds. Once you leave the plane, you’ll be 10,000 feet in the air, free falling for about 2 miles...
…then at 5,000 feet, you’ll release the parachute. And after drifting and seeing the beauty of Arkansas, the instructor will take over for the descent back to Drake Field.
Witnessing the sunset, while soaring through the open sky is truly a one-of-a-kind adventure.
Have no fear, the instructors will make you feel comfortable every step of the way.
Best of all, once you land safely, you’ll agree that this experience is worthy of a bucket list. In fact, some jumpers who were afraid of heights, have jumped again since their first time.
Skydive Fayetteville is open on Saturdays and Sundays from sunup to sundown. For weekday jumps, you can call ahead to schedule an appointment.
