Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for more than 30 years. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, Daniella began to hone her writing skills through various internships. In the years since, she’s had the privilege of having her articles appear in several publications, such as the Mississippi-based Parents & Kids Magazine. She’s also had the honor of interviewing actress Sela Ward for The Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience.
When thinking of the jolliest place around, the North Pole undoubtedly comes to mind. It IS home to hardworking elves, flying reindeer, and Santa and Mrs. Clause, after all. And while the North Pole (and all its whimsy) might seem worlds away, it’s actually much closer than you think. In fact, it’s right here in the Natural State!
Santa’s North Pole in Jonesboro has been bringing the wonders of the North Pole to Arkansas since 2014.
Created with the help of world-renowned animation artist, Lou Nasti, the walk-thru display features amazingly detailed scenes, animated figures, and more than 200 glowing Christmas trees.
After walking through the display, a visit to the gift shop is a must. Not only is it stocked with great merchandise, but it’s home to a life-size gingerbread house!
Visitors can now enjoy a whole slew of seasonal festivities, including photos with Santa, reindeer encounters, themed character days, DIY s’mores, concessions, and more.
For more info, call Santa’s North Pole at (612) 296-8812. You can also visit Santa’s North Pole website or Facebook page.
So, did you know about this spectacular seasonal display? Ever visited? If so, what’d you think? Tell us!
