Using FBI crime statistics and data, Safewise determined that the 10 safest cities in Arkansas are: Cave Springs (#1), Greenbrier, Austin, Greenwood, Bella Vista, Vilonia, Gentry, Pottsville, White Hall, and Centerton (#10).

Safewise didn’t stop there, though. The list went on to name the next 10 safest cities, which are: Dumas (#11), Walnut Ridge, Bentonville, Lowell, Maumelle, Brookland, Farmington, Pea Ridge, Cherokee Village, and Cabot (#20).

Several cities have appeared on the list before. For instance, this is the second year in a row that Cave Springs landed the #1 spot.

Despite their rankings, all of the safest cities in Arkansas boast lower robbery rates than the rest of the state – and nation.

In the safest cities in Arkansas, robbery accounts for just 5% of the violent crime rate. That’s below the state’s average of 9% and the nation’s average of 22%. What’s more, 15 of the safest cities have violent crime rates that are well below the state, regional, and national averages.
Property crime is also far less likely in Arkansas’ safest cities.

70% of the safest cities reported less than 100 property crime incidents. The most impressive of all is Pottsville, which is the only city that reported less than 20 property crime incidents.
