Satisfy your steak craving in a big way with a visit to Herman’s Ribhouse! An Arkansas legend, it’s known for its delicious steaks, some of which are huge. The steaks alone are reason enough to visit, but they’re not the only reason. There’s a lot more to love about Herman’s Ribhouse, including a laidback setting and lots of character.
Herman’s Ribhouse opened in Fayetteville on New Year’s Day in 1964.
Keeping things simple, the original owner, Herman Tuck, chose to feature just nine items on the menu - rack of ribs, plate of ribs, BBQ chicken, a large T-bone, and five sandwiches.
When it came to décor, Tuck splurged a bit more. He moved a large aquarium into the dining room and created a wall-of-fame to display photos of (future) loyal patrons.
Don’t think you can tackle a hunk of meat that size? How about a 32-ounce T-bone? Still too big? That’s okay; the menu features several cuts of steak in a variety of sizes.
Between its lengthy history, big, juicy steaks, and laidback setting, you’ll experience more than a great meal at Herman’s. You’ll experience tradition.
