If the thought of peach cobblers, ice cream, or jams don’t make your mouth immediately water, you may not be from Arkansas. The fruit staple is just a bit behind tomatoes as far as beloved local produce goes. One of the fruit farms in the state, Cadron Crest Orchard, is simply brimming with peaches. You can pick-your-own peaches and blackberries or peruse their other produce!
The beautiful pink trees of spring are now fully stocked with juicy peaches for summer.
The peaches at Cadron Crest Orchard have been ripe and ready since the very end of June. The peachy paradise is north of Conway, near the Woolly Hollow State Park.

Summertime in Arkansas means peach season is well underway!
Peaches are ready now and should be available until late August-mid September. The farm recently expanded their orchard to an additional 25 acres, which means we'll have even more peaches in the coming years. There's certainly plenty to go around this year, however. Cadron Crest has over 500 trees of Redhaven peaches alone!
The orchards have multiple varieties such as Glohaven, Redhaven, Flaming Fury and more. All of the supplies needed for picking is provided and the picking price is $2.50/lb. of peaches.
Blackberries are the other in-season fruit ready for picking. Just imagine the scrumptious satisfaction of baking peach and blackberry cobblers after a day of picking fresh fruit.
You can come home with a whole garden's worth of veggies after visiting.
Peaches and blackberries can be pick-your-own but that's not the only thing growing at the farm. Watermelon, cantaloupe, tomatoes, squash, cucumber, and even purple-hull peas are all available this summer at Cadron Crest.
There's no sweeter summer activity for families than getting outside and picking a couple of peaches.
Cadron Crest Orchard is open Mon - Sat from 8 am - 5 pm and on Sundays from 1 - 5 pm. Picking is not available during rain so be sure to either call or follow their Facebook Page for daily updates.
