She loves exploring the trails around the Buffalo National River and has yet to find a waterfall that wasn't her favorite.
We already know and love Blanchard Springs as well as North Sylamore Creek but there’s a unique way to appreciate this beautiful area you may not have taken yet! Enjoy a gorgeous a tour through the forest on horseback with OK Trading Post. In addition to the hour or two rides, they offer an overnight trip, too! Let’s saddle up and see more of this Mountain View excursion:
The OK Trading Post has stayed a thriving business in the mountains for decades.
The trading post, tack shop, and gift store has offered Ozark treasures and scenic trail rides for well over 20 years. It's easy to find a souvenir or two while you're here!
In addition to the wall-to-wall gifts inside of the store, you'll be able to find plenty of critters around the OK Trading Post petting zoo!
There's no telling what will be roaming around but the zoo does typically have goats, ducks, rabbits, and even deer! It's an easy way to warm up little ones before setting off on a horse-powered trek.

The OK Trading Post has quite the band of horses for your group's needs.
The shaded trail-blazing, creek-crossing, and mountain viewing combine for quite the scenic ride! Beginners to even the most experienced riders will enjoy these beautiful sights.
Day time treks aren't the only options for your horseback adventure.
If you have more time to spare, then we highly recommend taking the overnight ride! Spend the day horseback riding around the North Sylamore Creek area before settling in for a not-so-rugged night in the woods.
The overnight camping trips include the tour, tents, and even a true southern-style dinner.
Refuel around the campfire with a steak or a western stew. In the morning you'll be welcomed with a cowboy breakfast of biscuits and gravy (and eggs, sausage, bacon, too).
These guided overnight rides, including supplies and food, are about $125. You can see more details here.
Whether you're taking a quick escape to the trails or a whole night under the stars, the OK Trading Post can guide you into adventure!
You can contact them through their website. And you can see more of their activities by following their Facebook Page.
