The Dinosaur Themed Playground In Arkansas That’s Oh-So Special

Mountainburg is a tiny town in Arkansas, but it’s home to a massive, prehistoric attraction. And that attraction is Dinosaur Park, a children’s playground with enormous dinosaurs that is as amazing as it sounds. There’s a Triceratops, a Brontosaurus, and of course, the mighty T-Rex that are standing tall in all their greatness. This dinosaur themed playground in Arkansas is truly a sight to see.
Nestled at the foothills of the Boston Mountain is the tiny town of Mountainburg Arkansas, and its home to an adorable, themed playground in the state.
Dinosaur Park is perhaps one of the most memorable playgrounds in Arkansas. If you’ve driven down Highway 71 in Mountainburg, chances are, you’ve seen the massive dinosaurs inside the park.
Since 1980, this playground has been providing a fun place for kids and grownups alike.
Though the other dinosaurs are not accessible, there is plenty to do and see at this awesome themed park.
You’ll notice the vintage fire truck, which is a favorite for the little ones. They love climbing inside and playing with all the buttons as well as the steering wheel.
Complete with slides, swings, music station, and everything in between. The kiddos could easily spend a couple of hours having a blast at this playground.
Additionally, this park is also dog friendly, has picnic tables, walking trails, basketball court, and so much more. And it’s a great place to spend a day with the entire family.
So, if you’re ever in Mountainburg driving down Highway 71, be sure to stop in at Dinosaur Park and enjoy all that it has to offer.
