I am a nature lover and self-proclaimed foodie wrapped in one package. In my previous life, I was an Accountant, but numbers were boring and writing is the only thing that fuels my soul. So, I write because it's my freedom...it brings me joy. When I'm not writing dope articles for OnlyInYourState, I am writing and editing articles for my online blog on Medium.com. Or, when I get the chance, I am off on a trip with my family chasing waterfalls, or simply exploring the great outdoors. My mantra is to always find the best part of every day and bask in it.
If you live in Arkansas, chances are, there is a drive-in in your town or in a nearby community. And this drive-in has been there since you were a kid, and over the years, you’ve eaten many cheeseburgers, fries, and a milkshake/malt from it. These iconic eateries are part of the fabric of Arkansas and many trigger nostalgic memories from our childhood. Of course, not many of these nostalgic gems have survived because of one reason or another. But there have been some that have stood the test of time, one of which is Barnett’s Dairyette in Siloam Springs. This 66-year-old retro drive-in in Arkansas is one of the best places to grab a burger and relive some of our fond childhood memories.
Have you been to Barnetts in Siloam Springs? If so, did it trigger nostalgic memories for you? Share your experience in the comments below. Be sure to visit Barnetts website and follow Barnetts Facebook page for more information about the drive-in. And while you’re in town, check out some of the cool adventures in Siloam Springs.
