The Natural State is a marvelous place, isn’t it? We’ve got wonder all around us here. From man-made stunners to breathtaking natural wonders, Arkansas is full of marvels. We’ve collected 14 of them, and you absolutely have to see them all. Because these are located around the state, there’s probably one near you.

The Arkansas Grand Canyon is the deepest canyon in the Ozarks, and it is truly spectacular.
Located in Eureka Springs, the Christ of the Ozarks is 65.5 feet tall. It was built atop Magnetic Mountain, and we think it’s really cool, even if its features do lead people to sometimes call it "Our Milk Carton of the Ozarks."

The Arkansas Grand Prairie stretches between the White River and the Arkansas River in the delta. Though most of the rich delta land has been clear cut, which made the Arkansas Grand Prairie less distinctive, it’s still a gorgeous stretch of land and important to Arkansas’s agriculture.
Set in the gorgeous Ouachitas, Garvan Woodland Gardens is where nature meets manmade marvel. The beautifully landscaped gardens are 210 acres of perfection.
Terra Studios has been around since 1975, and they’ve been adding whimsy and wonder to their art park for all those decades.

Mount Magazine is the highest point in Arkansas, and when you’re standing at one of the many overlooks there, it feels like you can see forever.

Pivot Rock itself has been featured on Ripley’s Believe It or Not, and it’s no wonder why. It’s unlike any rock formation in the world. You can also find many other gorgeous formations on the paved pathways there.
Though it’s currently unfinished, closed, and seeking an investor, the Ozark Medieval Fortress is certainly a marvel. It’s modeled after a French castle, and the methods and materials used to build the castle were all accurate to the thirteenth century.

The undeniably gorgeous Stoneflower Cottage was built in 1965 and designed by E Fay Jones, the architect responsible for Thorncrown Chapel, Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel, and Anthony Chapel. The best news is that you can stay there!
The people who lived at Parkin had a civilization dating back to the year 1350 A.D. At the park you can see artifacts that date back to 1400. The mound itself is a marvel every Arkansan should see.
