Beaver Lake is one of the most beloved spots in all of Arkansas but there are so many different areas to explore! Two campgrounds you shouldn’t overlook are the north and south Lost Bridge parks. Both of these areas offer excellent lakeside camping as well as nearby adventures (both on and off the water)! Let’s pitch a tent and explore these two Beaver Lake campgrounds.
Beaver Lake is undoubtedly one of the best attractions in Arkansas.
The 28,000-acre lake was created in conjunction with the Beaver Dam in 1966. The lake has pristine water that's a favorite for scuba divers and nearly 500 miles of shoreline!
With such a large area, it's difficult to decide on where to spend the night.
The numerous alcoves and hollows around the lake mean endless cabins, resorts, and campgrounds! One set of rather underrated campgrounds are on the west side of the lake in the community of Lost Bridge. These parks sit on the beautiful beaches of Beaver Lake and make the perfect backdrop for your weekend away.

Pull up right to the water at Lost Bridge South...
Most of the campsites on the south-side park are just steps away from the water which is perfect for fishers, kayakers, or swimmers! The campground has plenty of RV spots with hook-ups for any Beaver Lake glampers. Typically out of the two, Lost Bridge South is the lesser-populated spot.
The park on the northern side of Lost Bridge has a few more amenities, making it perfect for carefree camping. All RV sites have full hookups and hot showers are within walking distance. Many of the sites here sit on the bluffs above the water which means you get a beautiful panoramic of the lake below.
A serene and green trail resides between the two campgrounds.
The Lost Bridge Trail is a 4.7-mile loop that mostly follows along the shoreline. This peaceful hike is rated as moderate for some rocky patches and elevation changes, though most novice trailblazers will find it to be very manageable.
This nearby trail has more than pretty views, too!
You'll discover a few waterfalls along the path including one you can walk behind! The cascades are best to chase after a recent rain. In addition to these the trail also features the remains of the Jim Schrader cabin site. Numerous relics have been found around this site, which you can read about on the plaques nearby.
Whichever park you decide to stay at, these Lost Bridge campgrounds will help you find some gorgeous lakeside relaxation.
