And if you’re a foodie like me who loves to read, then Bookworms Cafe in Mountain Home is the place for you. No need to explain the name, as this unique library restaurant in Arkansas is a slice of heaven for book lovers everywhere. Let’s take a journey to this scholastic cafe and see what amazement dwells within this hidden gem restaurant in Arkansas.
Housed inside the Donald W. Reynolds Library in the small town of Mountain Home, you’ll find the Bookworm Cafe.
But the best part about the menu is that some of the items are named after our favorite authors, classic novels as well as famous characters. These literature-themed items are a dream come true for book lovers.
Other wraps include the Green Mile, the Grisham, the Steinback and the J. Frank Dobie. All are served with a side salad or chips.
If you want something heartier opt for one of the yummy sandwiches. The Under the Tuscan Sun Mediterranean chicken sandwich, the Chicken “Salad” for the Soul, and the JD Salinger (the Reuben) are some favorites.
Or choose the Shakespeare option, where you can build your own. But don’t skip over the Mammoth Pimento cheese sandwich, that can be topped with bacon. Yum!
