East Madison County, Arkansas, is home to the Kings River Falls Natural Area, a 1,059-acre gem of nature. It features the Kings River Falls Trail—our focus of the day—which leads to the scenic six-foot Kings River Falls.

It’s a two-mile round trip in a rugged mountain region bordered by pine-hardwood forests.
