These Fireworks Displays In Arkansas Will Drop Your Jaw

It’s that time of year again! It’s hot, it’s muggy, and it’s almost time to take the family out to go view some awesome mid-air explosions, and this year’s displays will blow last year’s out of the water. We’ve found the best of the best. After the best, you’ll find the most. We scoured the internet to find celebrations from all over the state. No matter what region you live in, you’ll find something to see in the list below.
This list might not be comprehensive, as some cities have not yet announced the details of their displays, but it is certainly thorough:
Northwest Arkansas
The City of Elkins Fireworks Display is happening Friday, July 1 at Bunch City Park. It features patriotic music by the Elkins High School Band.
West Fork Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Display takes place on Friday, July 1 at Carter Park.
Prairie Creek Marina Fireworks will happen Saturday, July 2 at 9 p.m. It’s at the marina and will feature live music by the appropriately named Bottlerocket Band.
The City of Farmington Fireworks Display occurs on Saturday, July 2 at the Farmington High School Football Stadium at 9 p.m.
Fireworks at the Crosses will take place on Sunday July 3 at Cross Church at Pinnacle Hills in Rogers. Events begin at 5 p.m. and the fireworks begin at dark.
Ventris Trail’s End Fireworks will take place at Ventris Trail’s End Resort in Garfield on Sunday July 3 at 8 p.m. The fireworks are intended to be viewed from Beaver Lake.
The Bella Vista Freedom Fest and Hot Damn Blues Festival is located at Loch Lomond Dam in Bella Vista and will be held on Sunday, July 3. The event features live blues music and fireworks start at dusk.
Celebrate Prairie Grove will take place on Sunday, July 3 at Prairie Grove Aquatic Park. Festivities begin at 7 p.m. and fireworks start at dusk.
An Evening at Orchards Park takes place in Bentonville on Monday July 4. Festivities begin at 7 p.m., music starts at 8 p.m., and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
Fire In the Sky features fireworks, parachutists, and concessions. It takes place on Monday July 4 at Siloam Springs Municipal Airport. Gates open at 6 p.m. and fireworks start at 9:15 p.m.
Gentry Freedom Fest is located at Gentry City Park on Monday July Fourth. There’s a car show during the day, music at 8 p.m., and fireworks at dark.
Arkansas River Valley
The Altus Fireworks Celebration takes place on Monday July 4 at the Altus City Park.
Fireworks on the Hill kicks off on July 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hilltop Travel Center in Alma. Festivities include food and inflatables for the kids.
The Fireworks Lake Tour takes place from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday July 4 at Lake Fort Smith State Park. Reservations are recommended. Admission costs are $10 for adults, $6 for children 6-12, and age 6 and under are free.
The Community Fireworks Display in Russellville will be held on July 4 at 9:30 p.m. in Old Post Park.
Celebrate Mulberry takes place on July 2 at Kirksey Park Fairgrounds. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. and fireworks start at dark.
Southwest
Mena’s Fourth of July Celebration takes place on July 2 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Mountain Harbor’s Annual Fourth of July Celebration takes place on July 4 from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. It takes place at Mountain Harbor Resort in Mount Ida.
The Let Freedom Ring celebration in De Queen takes place at the De Queen Sportsplex on July 2.
The Fifteenth Annual Star Spangled Spectacular takes place at the Municipal Airport in Camden. Festivities begin at 7 p.m. and fireworks begin at dark.
North Central
Fourth of July Festival on the Bay takes place on July 3rd at the marina in Fairfield Bay. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Thunder on Thunderbird happens on July 4 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Lake Thunderbird Marina in Cherokee Village.
Heber Springs Fireworks Extravaganza happens on the shores of Sandy Beach on July 2. Music begins at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.
Delta
The Colt Fire Department holds their event at the city park on July 4. The event is a fundraiser and has tons of things for the whole family. The event takes place from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Pine Bluff’s Fourth of July Celebration takes place at Pine Bluff’s Regional Park Softball Complex. Music begins at 8 p.m. and fireworks will begin around 9 p.m.
Central
At Dickey Stephens Park in Little Rock, The Travs are playing Midland on July 4. There will also be special entertainment, fireworks, and concessions. It begins at 6 p.m.
Maumelle Celebration a cardboard boat race, vendors and a fireworks display at Lake Willastein. Fireworks start after the band, which begins at 8 p.m.
Big Bang on the Range takes place at Jacksonville Shooting Sports Complex on July 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The 4th of July Family Celebration happens on Monday July 4th at Sherwood Forest from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Beebe’s Fourth of July Extravaganza is occurring at Beebe Ballpark fro 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The 8th Annual South Bend July 4th Celebration is taking place in Jacksonville at 4414 Highway 294 from 7 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.
